Joyce:

“We are Richard and Joyce, proud parents of three children. Now that the children are getting older and working hard on their own future, the time is right for us to work on a future together.

For years we shared a dream: starting a Bed & Breakfast abroad. Now that this dream has finally come true, at the place where we ourselves have enjoyed going on holiday for a number of years, we can’t wait to share it with you.
We have built and furnished our B&B with much love and care. Every detail has been carefully chosen to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere, so that our guests feel at home right away.
The rooms all have their own name and appearance that will be recognizable to many.

Plein d’Amour is located in a breathtaking and peaceful area, perfect for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy nature. But also has many possibilities for just a day out. A lovely beach less than 30 minutes away, beautiful cities full of history, restaurants and charming markets and brocantes.
For us, this B&B is not just a business, but a place where we put our heart and soul. We are therefore very much looking forward to welcoming you.”

 

Richard:

“We are a Dutch family of five who have worked hard all our lives, with a long dreamed dream, to set up a Bed and Breakfast abroad. Where we can have our own little, peaceful and quiet place under the stars, while hosting guests and offering hospitality, until we grow old. My name is Richard and my wife is Joyce, we have three teenage children who are all studying, and over the last few years we have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to make our dream come true. Together with the help of many of our dear friends we have been able to set up our B&B Plein d’Amour, with a small campsite behind it and, although it will always be a work in progress, we are proud to finally open the doors.”

 

Our Bed & Breakfast:

Our authentic and rustic B&B Plein d’Amour, built in an old farmhouse built centuries ago and last extended and remodeled in 1858, is located on the second largest mountain in our region, close to the beautiful picturesque town of Evaux-les Bains , a renowned area for thermal baths and spa-wellness activities – overlooking the meadows and valleys in our small part of the Province de Creuse , which is located approximately in the middle of rural France, almost exactly on the border of three arrondissements in central France.

The area is renowned for its wide open landscapes, rural, rolling pastures, valleys, forests and lakes, its national parks and peaceful agricultural surroundings, and its views and ‘starry skies’. It is a serene place where anyone can relax, in the quiet and calm surroundings of the open French green and natural countryside.

 

Reservation(s) for short or longer stay:

For a short stopover on your journey, for example to your holiday destination on the Mediterranean coast , the Côte d’Azur, the Atlantic Ocean or to Spain; Or for a longer period in the beautiful French countryside – we offer a variety of accommodation and relaxation possibilities for the traveler. With many local excellent restaurants, activities and entertainment there are ways to enjoy your stay in the area. Of course we can point you in the right direction with all the information available at the reception.

With camper parking, electric charging stations, a small and quiet campsite, Airbnb and Bed & Breakfast options with five excellent new, clean and fully furnished rooms, we offer a serene place for the night and/or your stay, as well as a classic , extensive breakfast buffet cuisine in the mornings before you hit the road again. There are also options to use our small glamping facilities and biker huts, if you don’t want to unpack anything and want to move on as quickly as possible the next morning, or if you are on a nice cycling holiday.

 

Groups and parties:

 

In case of larger or smaller group bookings for a gathering, (corporate) party or celebration – for example in the case of a wedding, anniversary, party, ceremony, or retreat – please feel free to contact us to inquire about the possibilities for your special request.

We have a beautiful large green lawn, ideal for parties and groups, with a great view both during the day and in the evening with a beautiful sunset and extraordinary starry sky.

We offer buffet options, a large kitchen for catering purposes, a few halls and many guest rooms for overnight stays, including parking and possibly staff. And in the case of a wedding, as the icing on the cake a beautiful wedding cake.
